MEET DR. EDWARD WANG - SPANAWAY, WA

Edward Wang, DMD

Dr. Wang became interested in dentistry during his mission trip to Vietnam as a student at the University of Washington. He was fascinated by the dentist’s ability to empathize and soothe patients and skillfully resolve problems painlessly. Soon after, he began volunteering and shadowing dentists from various locations, demographics, and specialties to gain a comprehensive understanding of dentistry.

Dr. Wang earned his doctorate degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. Although he enjoyed his dental training years on the East Coast, he never forgot about his Pacific Northwest roots. His desire to serve the people back home never abated.

Dr. Wang finds his passion not only in providing excellent dental care but also in building meaningful relationships with his patients, which are created on mutual trust, honesty, and teamwork. Having the ability to achieve the patient’s goals and to make a profound impact on their oral health and self-image provides a great sense of accomplishment.

On his days off, Dr. Wang enjoys spending his time outdoors running or cycling with friends.
