Dr. Tate Masunaga was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and comes from a large family of dentists and orthodontists. He decided to make Washington State his home after earning his DMD degree from the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in Seattle.
He is an active member in the Washington State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Seattle Study Club, and the Spears Study Club. Dr Masunaga has completed advanced training at the world prestigious Kois Center and has a commitment to stay abreast with the latest and most current trends in dentistry.
Being raised in Hawaii instilled the Hawaiian philosophy of “Pono” which means “goodness, doing the right thing, and serving others.” During his free time, Dr. Masunaga enjoys photography, videography, electronic music, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. )
